We treat Amen like the end.

But Amen comes from the Hebrew root: aman — firm, steady, trustworthy.

Amen doesn’t close the prayer.

Amen says:

• This is true.

• I can stand on this.

• I trust God with this.

Amen isn’t closure.

Amen is confidence.
